The Jayma Mikes Service award is a departmental award that will recognize a member of the department who has made a significant contribution to the well-being of the department through support, service and promotion of diversity and inclusion.
This award is named after Mrs. Jayma Mikes, who served as the business manager for the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics for close to fourteen years. Her service to the department went above and beyond her official duties to help cultivate the well-being of the department through support, service and promotion of diversity and inclusion for all members of our community.
A $500 award will be presented to the awardee.
